Why Should I use a Eco Lotion Bar?
Remember, the skin is the body’s largest organ and it needs to breathe as part of its important role in maintaining overall health! We use natural plant oils which are easily absorbed and are nourishing to your skin. Our all natural lotion bars contain no animal fats, no synthetic fragrances, and no chemical preservatives. The silky smoothness of our lotion bars comes from the finest ingredients available.
What Is an All Natural Lotion Bar?
A lotion bar is not truly a lotion because it does not contain water. Moisturizing plant oils and exotic butters are combined in a unique formula that is solid at room temperature, but they melt at skin temperature-like a lip balm. When you rub the bar between your hands, your body temperature melts a small amount and the natural plant oils are quickly absorbed to leave your skin feeling soft and silky. The result is wonderfully soft feeling skin without the wet-stickiness you are used to with traditional lotions.
How Do I use a Eco Lotion Bar?
- We recommend lotion bars for hands, elbows, heels, arms, and freshly shaved legs.
- Keep a lotion bar by the sink to keep “hands that do work” soft and silky.
- Cut off a sliver of your natural lotion bar and let melt in hot bath water instead of using synthetic bath oils.
- Massage some lotion bar into your cuticles to soften them.
- Lotion bars are particularly nice in the winter time when we all suffer with skin that takes a real beating by drying out. Keep a lotion bar near your bath or shower. Rub the lotion bar directly on your body while it is still warm and damp after getting out of the shower or bath and watch itchy skin disappear.
- Many customers also use our lotion bars as lip balm.
- Use scented bars wrapped in tissue paper (remember they are oil) as drawer sachets until ready to use.
- Be sure not to leave in direct sunlight. Store in a cool place to prolong shelf-life.
